Cinematic Moments…
While out celebrating out first real paychecks, we walked out to the patio of a local hotspot only to see a sea of Marines in full dress uniforms walking down the street. One hopped up from street level and, while hanging onto the iron railing, inquired, “Who wants to kiss a Marine?!”
Kissed a Marine.
Boom, Happy Veterans’ Day.
For The Helluvit is ALSO on Facebook! Facebook is really a more organized representation of this whole spiel…che-che-check it out!
Awkward Moments:
*On a blind date*
Him: Being a “nice guy” doesn’t pay off.
Me: What? That’s not true!
Him: I used to be one of those guys. You probably remember him *enter high-pitch voice* “He has soooooooooooo many ‘girl-friends’ but NO ONE wants to date him right!?”
Me: *In my mind* BIT-TER. INSANE.

(Missy: I haven’t cut my hair since the 7th grade…)
—So this hair was on your head when TuPac was alive?
It’s like you’re screaming and no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed…that someone could be that important, that without them you feel like nothing. No one will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel hopeless but nothing can save you. When its over and it’s gone, you almost wish you can almost have that bad stuff back so you can have the good.
Defining Moments…
The buzzer to the stove had been going off for at least an hour. Did I attempt to turn it off? Nope. I was far too busy being awesome 10 ft away.
Marlene Dietrich is being lifted up by American soldiers onto the ocean liner of the Queen Elizabeth. She is welcoming them upon their return from Europe to New York after the second world war, July 1945.
Awkward Moments…
Been out to celebrate a couple of things this year…thought we were fancy by buying $15 bottles of Champagne to do so.
Just stopped by the grocery store…only to realize that that $15 bottle…retails for $4.24.
